They will show the car at Capital Market Days in October, however it most likely won't officially launch until sometime in 2026.

This week has been fruitful in realism and terms of intentions for change in Europe. Last Monday, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced she will propose a more relaxed three-year timeframe for the automotive industry to comply with the bloc's CO2 standards, instead of annual targets. She also said "We will prepare to accelerate work on the 2035 review, with full technological neutrality as a fundamental principle,"

If the launch of a 100% electric Ferrari already seemed completely incomprehensible before these foreseeable changes, now is an absolute non-sense.

You do realize the Hydrogen is a complete fail, will never occur on any basis outside of niche applications.

Notice, HALF as many bids as last year...

    punchline:

The CR-V Fuel Cell will be available in limited quantities and Honda has said it will build only 300 units per year

    https://carboncredits.com/toyotas-hydrogen-fuel-cell-vehicle-sales-saw-166-increase/

    From 2023:
The largest carmaker by sales has long placed a huge bet on FCEV as an alternative to fossil fuels. But the company’s sales of hydrogen vehicles weren’t that significant. It has only sold fewer than 22,000 hydrogen fuel cell Mirai since 2014.

The average annual number of FCEV sold was so insignificant compared to Toyota’s total vehicle sales. Expensive cost of the fuel and lack of hydrogen fueling stations are the two largest bottlenecks hindering sales growth.

World total, somewhere close to 0:

    https://fuelcellsworks.com/news/global-hydrogen-car-market-to-decline-34-1-year-on-year-in-the-first-half-of-2024

(when you consider that USA+EU combined have about 560MILLION light-vehicles in-use...)

And, if you get one of these Hydrogen cars, exactly where can you use it in USA...pretty much nowhere:

    https://afdc.energy.gov/fuels/hydrogen-locations#/find/nearest?fuel=HY

A little better in Europe, but not by much, especially when you consider the daily refill capacity (good for a few cars per day):

It's already being used to make other cars, it is not an EV only building, never was, it is to help increase overall production capacity... so, no 'waste' if they simply stop the EV project, I have already called it several times that they would 'reveal' and it would be 2-3 years before first customer delivery...and to now read Marcel indicating slippage to 2026, maybe that's how Ferrari will "play it", just keep slipping it into the future until it is just forgotten...

If it's being show at a Capital Markets Day, it won't be forgotten. Every analyst will be there, and they will follow that car with immense intrigue both for success and/or to be the first to scream about a failure. If Ferrari come out and mention it will be incredibly limited that may be different on being able to push it out, but at this point, they keep speaking about how special it will be, so they're somewhat stuck.

Showing it and putting in production are very different, car companies reveal prototypes all the time and nothing comes of it...here's hoping :)
