I am new to the forum and probably should have gotten involved sooner.

The reason I say that is because I recentley visited my local Ferrari dealer and approached them about getting on the Enzo replacement list, and they said only those "chosen" by the factory have the opportunity to purchase these sort of cars.

I never have purchased a new Ferrari (although I have owned many), and I suspect this is why the Ferrari and the dealer would refse me the right to purchase!?

Is this dealer a little confused, or do I have to put a major order in at the local Ferrari dealer to prove I would be a loyal customer.

I'm just sick of missing out on every new Ferrari that comes out, and then being forced to pay some "scalper" a huge premium.

    I would appreciate your thoughts.
    Thanks

    Welcome to FerrariChat...

Unfortunately, your dealer is right... Ferrari chose every owner of every Enzo... It's pretty difficult for someone to get a new car ordered from the factory... Ferrari doesn't care how many Ferraris you've owned in the past - all they care about is how many you buy from THEM, ie, the authorized dealerships... Once you establish a relationship with them, then you can start ordering cars new from the factory...

To order the Enzo replacement , you will have to be either an old and loyal Ferrari customer or be someone very famous.

I suggest yo buy an F40 or F50 and order a new F car , that way you ll be known by your dealer and by the Factory.

I usually walk into the dealership with $500,000 to $1,000,000 in a duffle bag and I don't have any problems getting the cars I want.

Yeah, but you always "conveniently" forget to take the 357 Magnum OUT of the bag, which is pretty intimidating for the other parties involved, so of course they don't give you any problems...
