Hi, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am the 1st person in the NWT on this site!!! I know that there are some nice cars up here. I personally own a 2004 ferrari 360 modena coupe, a 1998 ferrari 355 coupe, a 2005 Porsche Cayenne Turbo and a 2003 Dodge Viper. I have also seen a couple Mercedes, BMW's and Jaguars. There are also a few exotics up here like a Lotus Esprit. Its an 1998 and a business partner of mine owns it. There are also a few more vipers, a few vettes and i know of 2 Lamborghini owners. 1 owns a new Gallardo and the other owns a 1991 Diablo. There is also a few 328's here that i have seen. if you want to know any more cars up here that i have seen just ask me. brett
that many? I'm surprised. Looks like I'll be in Whitehorse in a couple months, but not Yellowknife... yet. Not expecting to see any exotics on the street in January. yes - please post pics. oh - and welcome to Fchat!

Wow, you must be the KING of the NWT's with all that hardware!, did you guys happen to stumble onto a gold mine or something?....bet I can guess which one you use as your winter driver... Just wondering, what is the duration of the driving season up there?...you guys are probably the only ones on earth that could envy our measly 5 months a year! Welcome to the site...
Cool pics. Where do people purchase exotics up there and where do they have them serviced. Is it a whole production every time the car has to go to the dealer?
the duration of the driving season up here is only about 3 good months and a little bit of may and september. I normally take my cars out for the first spin in late may and put them in the garage in early september. And for the other question we have to order them from a ferrari dealer and get them shipped here. and also im not the richest person here, i just like to spend my money on cars. many people up here are rich aswell because of the mining industry. most people bring there exotics here in the summer but store them in toronto and bc in the winter. thats where they get them serviced
I imagine those cars must cause quite the stir when you drive them around town! Do you have any pics of the town and or surrounding area? I don't really know too much about the NWT. Any good highways to open the cars up? Do you have to worry about traffic cops much?
You know we have at least 7 1/2 months of decent driving weather! Speaking of which I can't believe its snowing outside! This is making my future decision to move to Florida so much easier.
lol you guys are lucky u get so much driving time. 1 year i brought down my 355 in the summer because i used 2 live there in the summer. It drew some attention with the licence pl8s being NWT. and yes i do have some pics of the city. here i bet i can find some pics of yellowknife on the internet. lol i dont take 2 many pics of the city myself some more info is it has about 20 000 people and its the 2nd largest in the territories. My cars draw attention when i drive them in yellowknife but i normally drive them around the outer area of the city so i dont draw to much attention and i can give the car a little gas.
wow, yellowknife! I've been there a few times and ive seen that porsche there and i also saw ur ferrari 355. I remember i was speaking to you in yellowknife when i saw you pull over. man what are the chances id hear from you again after i didnt go there this year? mike
Hey man.. i think i remember you although it was quite a while ago. If i remember correctly u were just learning to drive and you were very interested in all my cars... since then ive got a porsche cayenne and sold my range rover. brett
Wow, Yellowknife sure looks alot like Boston... http://www.baystatemotorsports.com/00_360_ylw_6kmi.htm
a few months ago i did actually see a ferrari 328 up here it had ontario pl8s tho...ne1 on here drive there ferrari up here for the summer? i also know that there is atleasst 3 328's up here with our pl8s.
ya it does...thats because thats my car...i bought it through that new england dealer because i have family that lives there...they ordered it for me and i had to get it shipped here in july
because...thats where i live...thats where i had just posted them from...there is nothing outside yellowknife except for roads and trees...
"Here are pics of my Modena from just outside Yellowknife" is an implicit representation that the images posted were captured by a camera in the physical outskirts of the city. Which mine do you own ?
