Ferrari’s are invited to be part to Unique PerformanceFest at the North Texas Shelby Continuation Car Factory’s on October 16, 2004, in Farmers Branch. Classic, new and restored cars and motorcycles from across the region will compete for an array of prizes next to racing displays and celebrities. Unique Performance builds Shelby continuation cars based on vintage Ford Mustangs in their facility located at 13950 Senlac Drive in Farmers Branch.

In addition to the car show, we'll conduct tours of the manufacturing facility, give away prizes, host vendor displays and have other activities. Carroll Shelby and Chip Foose are scheduled to appear at the event that day. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit The Carroll Shelby Children's Foundation.

Many of your club members were part of our historic day last year. We are planning classes for just about every performance car, as well as motorcycles. From Cobras to Corvettes, Ferrari’s to Mustangs, Duece Coupes, Javelins, Vipers, hot rods, Maseratis and Panteras, we hope to attract the widest range of spectacular cars in the area. Ferrari’s are not only invited, but very desired to be part of the show.

As an added incentive, we will give the car club with the most vehicles participating in the show a $100 prize, with $75 for the second place group. We also encourage your club to set up a table for member recruitment, also.

A flyer has been enclosed with details about the event. For only $25 per car, your club members can enter the car show, be part of this significant moment and raise money for the Carroll Shelby Children's

Does anyone know if this event is open to the public? I don't have a ferrari or anything special (if someone wants me to show my '94 Mazda pickup...I'd gladly pay the $25....lol). Anyways...if someone knows, please let me know. Thanx :)

Same day as Rob's party. I'll attend both with good spirits. Good chance to meet the man himself if he's there. I gotta get some of my Shelby collection signed by another former / native Tarrant County resident. :D

Yes, there was an F40 there last year. And a 512M. The 512 is much more rare.

Anyone have a run down of all the import goodies at the show??

From what I can see from the pics, I see a Gallardo, Murcielago, & Aston Martin. I heard there was supposed to be a 512M there too. Any news on that??

I went to the show. Kinda dissappointed from last year. There were no Ferrari's when I was there. I know the gentleman that owns the 512M that was there last year was there this year but he only brought his Cobra that is all chrome (it is in the picture that writerguy took last year in the background of the blue and white one) there was a murci and gallardo, the coolest i saw was the Ashton Martion Zangota? never seen one in person and Im not sure what dealership brought them. Lots of trans ams, and camero's. Went and saw Chip Foose (hot rod God) but the line was sick to get an autograph. There were about 20 or so Duece's. a couple of corvettes. 2 viper GTS's. In the front parking lot was a Panoz. 7 or 8 pantera's. Sorry no pictures, couldnt find camera in time.

That was Greg Scott's yellow Charger, he has a TR too. Not sure what he showed last year. Matt was there in his Pantera.
