For those who still don't believe Ferrari is coming out with a new entry car...Ferrari is having the service managers from NA meet at the factory to learn about the new car. This is taking place in October.

Interesting. Not sure why they would come out with a new entry level car?

Did you hear this from a reliable source? Did they say what kind of entry level car?

Surely the Maserati Coupe, bargain priced Ferrari-engined GT.

The way things are going it is a FIAT 500 Maranello Speziale, in three colors. Red, White and Green.

There will be a Spider or Targa model, and a Superleggera and Competizione model, later in the year. Bridgestone will be the standard tires, but high performance Pirelli P-Zeros, will be optonal.

This post is for my amusement and I hope yours, too!

    Ciao...Paolo

Interesting, since the entry-level F430 is already out.

They could also be meeting to tell them about the new F430 S.

Yes, the dealer told me. The entry level car is the $170K car we have been talking about for the last 6 months....the Dino or some other name.

Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo's own words in a very recent interview.
"We are not going to do any Dino. No way. Or a small or cheap Ferrari"

I guess technically this isn't exactly a denial of a $170k car. It's probably not going to be called a Dino. Being slightly smaller than an f430 doesn't make it a small car. And, obviously it's not going to be cheap.

    Interesting stuff.

The new Alfa is supposed to be sold through Ferrari dealerships - could it be this car?

They are testing a Ferrari mule these days at the ring. Camuflaged in 599 look but not with a V12 sound. Magazines over here are predicting a new model because of the cover-up and other noise signature from the engine.

I think it's cool if they release it, then my dream (V8 mid-engine) Ferrari's won't look like the cheapest of these machines :D

A 911/ V8 Vantage competitor would be fun to see! They sure would sell everyone of them!!

Note folding roof, smaller tires, IMO that's it.

Per Luca di Montezemolo pre-owned Ferrari's are their entry level cars.

Joe 575 is correct, entry level Ferraris are what most of us own (used Ferraris)!

So edmunds thinks that Maser is releasing another brand new car? Wouldn't this cut sales on the Gran Turismo?

IMO that is the new "Dino" which is built on Maser platform but will be badged as a Ferrari.

I agree that it won't be a Maser, but why make a front engine Dino?
