Ferraris of Chicagoland - 2010 Calendar

To continue a long standing tradition I'll put together the 2010 calendar featuring cars and events from around Chicagoland. Price is $ 12 per calendar plus shipping and handling for mail delivery. I will have the calendars at the Holiday Party on December 5.

If you know of a local event next year that includes Ferraris, send me a PM and I'll add it to the calendar.

Here are the pictures, some of which were given to me by fellow FChatters Carsleuth and RedlineG60 and Houston artist Kevin Paige.

Thanks, Carla forwarded me some and I'll see that I can put some in. The number of pages is limited and I don't want to offend anybody by removing an already published shot.

I'll get back to you for permissions. Your work is excellent and I prefer a variety of photographers. Some of my friends who get these calendars every year as a X-mas gift commented that the quality of the fotos is improving from year to year. It's not that I get better as a fotographer, but that I get lucky to have folks like you, Carsleuth and Mobius Entwine contributing more and more. And not to forget Nopassn who secretely fixes the blemishes on my shots...<shht>

I got a pen drawing from him of the Le Mans winning 430 GT.

His works are reasonably priced. Oil paintings are about one grand. Some of the F1 drivers have actually bought from him pictures of themselves. Thanks to him I met Alain Prost.

 

Just received the calendars from the printer.

They did a nice job with pictures that didn't fit their aspect ratio: Instead of squeezing them (as in e.g. last year's title shot) they letter boxed them.

I will start sending out the calendars to the folks who won't come to the Holiday party.

Just realized I didn't give Carsleuth credit for the August picture (FCA Rally). My apologies, but his name is on two other pictures.

Speaking of legends: The printer changed the rules of the game a bit and I couldn't put them onto the written part, but had to make them part of the pictures. This was my first shot and I apologize for them being a bit too big. Next year I'll be using a much smaller font. These things are tricky to predict until you see the finished product.

 

I have no distributed all the calendars.
