What will be Ferrari's racing future starting in 2010?

  1. Ferrari will remain in F1

  2. LeMans/ALMS in Prototype Class

  3. A deal with Tony George to supply the IRL with chassis/engines

  4. Enter a team in the IRL and help the series expand to Europe

  5. Build the California in the USA, enter it in NASCAR as a Chrysler

  6. Start a breakaway F1 series with 3 other teams

  7. Stop racing for now

The ALMS, ELMS and even LeMans is ultimately run by the FIA. It's possible the ACO could break away from the FIA if they want Ferrari bad enough. It would mean that Ferrari would have only 1 race per year. DP would be alot easier, but there doesn't seem to be a great deal of benefit, as it is a very poorly advertised series, and very, very few anywhere but the in the US care about it...

Ferrari is F1 and F1 is Ferrari. No separation possible without destroying both. And they know that.
