The Italian Car Club of the Southwest (sponsor of the late ItalianCarFest) has been asked
to provide some members Ferrari's for display at a charity event to support the Texas
Ballet Theater. As we have a limited number if members who own Ferrari's, we would like
to open this event up to the local membership of the Ferrari Club of America and other
Ferrari owners in the local DFW area.
    Event details are as follows:

Saturday evening April 12, 2008, from 5PM until 9PM. Cars must be in place by 5PM!
Cars will be displayed on the ramp in front of PHAZAR Aerocorp Flight Facility at Meacham
Field, 4701 N Main St in Ft Worth, Tx. This is a secure, limited access area.

Although, Ferrari owners will not be provided free tickets to the Ballet Charity event,
you will be given the following perks for displaying your car:
    Dinner will be provided,
A tour of a recently completed conversion of a DC9-87 from commercial airliner to private
19 seat luxury jet will be provided,
A tour of PHAZAR's conversion shops will be available,
The use of PHAZAR's pilot lounge and reception facilities will be available.
Ferrari owners who wish to attend the ballet charity ball are more than welcome to,
however, the tickets cost $350 each.
We are sorry, but the theme of the ball is Ferrari specific and the organizers only want
Ferrari's. No other Italian makes have been requested.

If you are interested in displaying your car, we need a car ID and head count not later
then COB Friday 14 March 2008. Please contact Bob Dezzany at [email protected] with your
information or at 214-668-2382 with any questions.

Thanks in advance for your help to this charity. This posting approved by Rob Lay.

The lady who is responsible for the planning of the ball is somehow connected to Ferrari in Italy. The theme is Italian ballet and she thought Ferrari's would make great decorations. I didn't pick the theme, I'm just the guy who was asked to invite the Ferrari owners.
There is one cool thing that they will be auctioning off for charity at the ball. They have built a child size, (~12'X15'), replica of the first garage that Enzo lived in and worked at. She actually got the blueprints and made an miniature replica, complete with working garage door and a motorized, child size, replica Ferrari. Starting bid I believe will be $25,000. There will be a similar one for girls based on a famous villa in Italy as well.
