    apparently this weekend there will be a display by Christies...something in the way of 16 rare Ferraris including the number 1 166 spider Corsa. I'm going to call Christies to get more details.

    I just saw the article too. Seems the car will be auctioned on August 12 in Monterey, Calif.

    I was told that 26 cars will be displayed, celebrating Ferrari's 50 years in North America. The event is co-sponsored by Ferrari of North America. The GTO that Carbon photographed is also going to be on display. The event starts Thursday and runs through Sunday. Weather is going to be beautiful tomorrow. Any F-chatters want to meet up at the event?

    I will be there with bells on. I work on 57th and Madison so it is a quick jog over to Christies for me.

    I will bring the old digital camera too!

    Hi Fellas, just ran over there:

    So far they have about 10 cars set up - 612,360 Spider,360 Stradale, 575M, Maser Coupe, Maser racing, Maser Quatr, 575 racing e.t.c. No old stuff as of 1pm - though there is an entire carpeted empty area that they are prepping.

    Nice! Should be a lot of fun.

    Weather's going to be 71 degrees on Saturday. Am thinking about going Saturday morning -- anybody interested? Expectation is for Thunderstorms on Sunday. :(
