Just got back from Le Mans and have seen plenty over the weekend, including: - Rosso 360 spider with England flag on bonnet on journey home (I was passenger in yellow Elise/silver 996 in convoy for a while). - Classic Ferrari on outskirts of Calais (not sure of model, but open topped 50s/60s racing car). - F40 attempting a burn out on campiste roundabout on Fri night (didn't see plate). - F40 parked up on Arnage curves on Fri morning. - Rosso scuderia Enzo driving past Karting Nord camping. Anyone on here? Mark.
There is a dark red 550 Barchetta down my road, and a black 550 Maranello at my school. There is also a black 360 spyder in Cobham that I saw the other day...
Yellow 308 reg ### 308 westbound Second Severn Crossing at about 8:30 pm on Sunday. I was on the obs platform eastbound pinging speeders and was rather disappointed you were only doing 79 mph )! Mike
if he was going the other way at speed would he have got done for speeding byyou??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Nah, we only deal with serious speeders, 94 and above. If it was a speed camera van tho', he would quite likely be getting a little letter through the post in the next 10 days or so. Mike
oh wow thats even cooler , because not only, am i a massive ferrari / supercar fan but also a massive led zepplin fan, i didnt know it was bonhams old car, that makes it a pretty special car even more that it is already, thanks for that!
My pleasure!, I have lusted after this car for donkey's years but is way out of my price range. At one point, at the height of the classic car boom in the late eighties, it had a price tag of £2million!!! Something of a banker for the owner eh?
TDF 355B on the 'Noke' roundabout in St. Albans at about 4. Just after having driven past Maranello's where they were having a new Maserati Quatropopopole thing delivered off a covered trailer.
furkin ell i thought a man of you caliber could tell the difference we will accept your resignation as i thought moderators new about ferraris
now now dont get stressed as you have only just finished your holidays i have two books if you want to borrow them 1 all ferrari models 2 all kit cars
Unless of course the car had been re-registered and the DVLA couldnt work out the correct age (dfferent age engine and an unmarked frame usually do it)
**** Joe, don't ecourage him, please! But to get back to relevance, saw a Rosso 308GT4 at the bottom of Gravel hill in Croydon this morning.
Friday: Rosso 355B near Virginia Water, forget the plate now. Early morning, 7.30am or so. Nothing else on the road to Goodwood, nearly got run over by a 'Gold' 456 on the way back to our car though Red CS with stripe outside Cafe Uno in Egham, engine cover open. Late afternoon. Also a 328 alongside at lights nearing Rickmansworth 20 minutes later, went flying off. Today: Dark red (I forget the proper name) 360 heading north on the M1 just outside Leicester early afternoon.
