Seen at Donington Park today was a 1958 Ferrari Dino 246 F1.
    Wow.
    Sorry guys no camera again.
Plus I can't find a picture for reference.
But what a sweet motor ( if you're into vintage Ferraris).
The pilot was not holding back, in what has to be worth !!?!?!? I hate to think how much.

Also A bunch of Ferrari 360 Challenge cars and a couple of 360 GT's
along with some Thoroughbred GP's 2 old Williams F1 one being Alan Jones' old car and The JPS F1 Lotus.

and a few Porsche GT's, TVR GT's, Carerra cup cars and F3's

And didn't even bother getting my little Forula Vee out of it's box.
    Too embarased.

NEXT TIME I WILL REMEMBER THE DAMN CAMERA!

What a day job that would be - driving Challenge cars around Donnighton !!

Do these guys not work for a living or are the all sponsored professionals ?

    Cheers Dale,

A sausage as well please !.

    Richared,

I think the Challenge guys are mainly rich amateurs,
Though I think the GT drivers are paid professionals,
And the Thoroughbred/Boss series F1 Drivers are Extreemly rich amateurs
I was talking to one of them in the pits.
They cost about £1000 per lap to run. Thats about £1000 per minute.
    Ouch !!!

So it was an easy choice for me.
Either 5 laps in a 1970's Formula One car or the whole season in Forula Vee !

I know what you mean - all these guys that have too much money and can only fill their time by racing cars......I wish!

The rarest F car I've seen on track, was a 288GTO Evoluzione (sp?), again at Dono late last year. Took me a while to work out what is was.

Mark (1st post so Hello to all!)
