I don't know whether it's an age thing or what but I just can't get with post- Dino Ferrari styling-The 550 Maranello is okay and I think that has more to do with it being a revival of the front engine V12 than anything. The others I have a hard time telling apart from a new Corvette or Porsche. I do truly appreciate the engineering design aspects and racing prowess of today's Ferrari.

I did remain true to my convictions and bought a vintage era car when my Ferrari number came up.

    Gwat, let me clarify:

My 328 is the most beautiful car ever made, by any manufacturer, any year in history. Your car is hardly worth a mention.

    So that being said...........wanna trade?
    ;)

    Hey, ya can't say I didn't try!
Just kidding, I think you have an awesome car and we don't mean to talk it down. I saw one live and have to admit my attitude changed on it quite a bit. I think we all just wish some of the new cars also took our breath away on paper, in the magazine pictures.

    Enjoy!

For all those times you go over 80mph... that wind-tunnel dictated styling sure comes in handy. To each, his own...

IMHO, I am still amazed at how anyone can look at the front end of a 360 and say that it looks good. The big broad high dual-nostril bumper line makes it look boat-like. I am also not impressed with making the butt end so big - either for the stupid golf-bag requirement or for trying to make it big enough to serve as a wing for downforce.

The more recent Ferrari styling efforts seem almost like a cute Italian mistress that has gotten old and chunky. Earlier spy shots of the 360 replacement showed promise in revising it for the better. More recently I am not as enthusiastic. The side scallops on the 612 and the 575 replacement are not sufficient to make the car look as sexy as a Ferrari should.

All that wind tunnel testing and styling compromise have not made them safer either, just the opposite.

I've seen more flaming wrecks of 360s than most any model lately along with
high speed crashes when those "ground effects" lose their ability to work when hitting bumps at speed.

Take a drive in a Stradale and I dare you to keep it under 80. It just doesn't happen when I drive it. The car is so stable at speed that it is almost unbelievable. 80 feels more like 50.

That said, I realize that some people think a Scion XB is stylistic and NEVER drive over the posted limit. I agree...to each, his own
