Ferrari's to build new "entry level" model??

    "Ferrari is set to give the green light to a new entry level model that will directly take on Aston Martin’s V8 Vantage and should give a massive boost to the Italian company. Powered by a front-mounted 400bhp 4.2-litre V8 driving a rear-mounted transmission, the new model should sell for around £85,000 ($162,000) in coupé form and could lift Ferrari sales from just under 5000 cars per year to as many as 8000."

    Love the idea very much... It's about time Ferrari get back to a fun sports car instead making everything bigger. But I cann't stop wondering why the word Maserati has to appear in the Ferrari plan. I hope this new Ferrari model isn't a facelift of the Maser slow selling coupe.....

    Well if you look at the other thread you will see that there is a very strong theory regarding using the name Ferrari rather than Maserati on this rumoured new model and that is due to the 'price tag'!!!

    No matter what it is, it definately has the looks of a ferrari, i think it looks better than anything else in the line up.
