Bobileff Motorcar Company is pleased to announce that it's finished with the Islero's cosmetic Restoration. The Cosmetic restoration done for a California based collector. The Car has returned to its original color scheme in Blu Ischia and period correct diamond patterned tobacco interior. The research was done by the current owner on the color and styling that Ferruccio had it at the time of ownership. With it's original wooden gas cap still intact from when Ferruccio had it made for his car.

Yes I hate it when they kill the mirros for the sake of "rightness"
whereas I love those "very forwarded" mirrors some cars got

Looks great! that car was next to my 400 at Concorso a few years ago, when it was silver.

    I want a wooden gas cap. ;^D

btw, interesting air cleaner knobs -- are those original?

When I bought #6243 it had its mirror placed very forward on the front fender. Since it has been restored I have not added a mirror either.

Wow, absolutely wonderful restoration. The original color combination is just gorgeous.

So, the quilted pannels were original to the car, weren't they? Interesting to see that the way you restored it is quite different from the time when the interior's car was red, especially on the door panels and the seats. How did the owner did get such information? This must have been a very difficult research.

Once again, bravo, what a good job! Please post some other pictures!
