Made a little movie of a ferry flight I did in July. We flew a Fokker 50 from Maastricht, the Netherlands to Adelaide, Australia. As it is a turboprop it took us 42 hours in 4 days. Hope you like it.

Loved it! Good Job.... No great job editing and syncing music, camera position choices. That stuff does not happen by accident. I only clicked because I wanted to see what a Fokker 50 was and you drew me in to watching the whole thing!

What editing software did you use? I'm going to guess the camera was a gopro or contour?

Thanks! Agree on the editing, my first movie and not a lot of time to edit. Used iMovie and it was a Gopro HD Hero 2. Camera positions were a bit hard to find as the suction cup wouldn't hold on every surface. I will do better next time.

I enjoyed it. Cool plane - had to look it up in wiki to learn more about it, and Fokker went "under."

Don't know about some of that "food" though ....

Very nice. Looks like it was a fun trip. Always nice to fly somewhere new. So, are you ready for long haul full time?

Yes I am ready! But I have to wait at least 2 years 'm afraid. Embraer 190 and Europe are still great luckily.

Looks like fun, anytime you do non-standard ops (and it's planned that way :)) it's usually a great experience.

I'm on the 190 for 2 years now, but still current on the Fokker. I do ferry and acceptance flights as a freelance job. But I'm a full time captain for KLM on the Embraer 190, so not that much time left to do freelance work.

Ferry flights are great, especially with aircraft that have limited range.... A Fokker 50 has a range of approximately 1750NM. I have flown Fokkers to Peru, USA, Brazil, Singapore, Netherlands Antilles and this summer Australia. Long days, but great to see all those places.

Yes it did, but only that sate was a bit of a gamble as the handling guy went of the airport to get it on the streets in Bali, but it turned out to be great!!
