The Italian Car display is coming up at Festa Italiana at the Seattle Center. For details, see http://festaseattle.com/exhibits/vehicle-show/. Registration closes on 9/27.

Registration is required and this year, there is a $10 fee to register a car. Motorcycles and scooters are still free.

Great event, plenty to do and eat. Reserved parking inside a taped off area, right by the fountain. Enter the grounds from the 2nd Ave N and Thomas St. intersection. Be sure and have your EventBright registration ticket as I presume that they will be checking since there is a fee.

I'll be there with the 308 on Saturday and probably Sunday too. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I asked/complained about the $10 registration fee when I registered this year.

    Here is the response:
    Dear Car Owners,

Thank you for registering your vehicle for the 31st Annual Italian Festival at Seattle Center. Several of you have questioned why we levied a $10 registration fee this year and the answer is simply that last year we took in over 40 free registrations - so many that we cut off registration
and turned several cars away. Unfortunately, fewer than half of them actually showed up,
so as a test we put a nominal price on registering this year. If you would like to be reimbursed for that, please ask Michael Troiani when you arrive on the grounds
and we'll give you back $10 or a ticket for a glass of wine whichever you prefer!

Also, please remember that there are a couple "Walks" for charity this year so all vehicles must be parked by 10 AM each day. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Entirely reasonable considering what happened last year. They should simply have posted that on the website to avoid any questioning of their motives.
