    good evening recently drove my FF previously no problems to the shops. Did some shopping returned to the car turned it on and I got message after message, ESC failure, 4WD failure, AVH failure, stop start failure. Car up to this stage was fine. Had not driven for 2 weeks could you advise if this is a battery issue or something else. Drove home did not feel any different maybe it was it was however stuck in WET mode.
    thanks for any advise. Will ring dealer but thought I would ask other owners as well please.

    Welcome - check out the FF section for similar descriptions but it sounds particularly like weak battery (not enough recent use)

    Almost certainly a weak battery if in the two weeks it was not driven it was not on a tender.

    Also, these cars can be unhappy if you twist the key and hit the Start button without waiting a few seconds for the three little beeps that signal all the ECUs have checked in and the car is ready to start. That can cause a cascade of errors that will not recur on a restart.

    thanks everyone for your feedback, I will get the battery checked and wait a few seconds before I switch on the car. as well. I will take it for a drive and see if the messages disappear.
