    Hi Folks,
Did a search, couldn’t find an answer. My 2012 FF with 30k miles is going into the summer with a weak air conditioning system. Had it out for 5 hours yesterday (outdoor air temp = 90F) and it basically blows warm air. Settings: 72 degrees, auto, snowflake on, and nothing cold. Has anyone had a similar experience? Wondering what some of the causes have been so I might be prepared when I take her in. Looking for solutions, that have worked, complexity, and approx costs please. Thank you.

I don’t know if there is something Ferrari specific but it could be simply low refrigerant.

That’s what I’m hoping for but I was wondering if other owners have had different experiences.

I had this issue once in my gtc4lusso, for some reason from the infotainment screen doesn’t show outside temperature. Then AC start blowing hot warm to hot air. Image Unavailable, Please Login

My 2012 FF just had the same problem! Technician discovered that it had little to no refrigerant in it. He pressurized the system and monitored it for 12 hours and could not find any leaks. He used UV to try and find a leak and saw lots of fluorescing around the valve caps but no where else. Solution so far was to refill the refrigerant and wait and see how long it lasts. So far so good. Total cost of labor for the diagnostic and refrigerant was just under $300.

Thanks so much, I’m thinking this is going to be the first line of diagnosis and recharge. My mechanic thinks the same way as this solution but hasn’t seen the car yet. Really appreciate the advice.
