    My friend and neighbor (he is registered on here but I do not know under what name) is getting his first Ferrari delivered tomorrow morning. I know that at times people tend to be wary of newcomers so I am hoping he sees this thread and replies to it. He is very excited (he probably will have trouble sleeping tonight) since he never dreamed he would be owning a Ferrari. I would like to take credit for it all, but in the end it was truly his desire for one and the car itself that won him over. I hope you will welcome him, and I'm sure he will have many questions, some you owners will be able to answer (I read the manual but have never owned a Ferrari with the controls the FF has), far better than I can. He is for real, a nice guy, and far more normal than I am, so please be kind. Thanks.

    I am very excited as you can all imagine. This is going to be an experience that I will never forget. Under 24 hours to go before the car is delivered. I am sure I will have many question and stories to share over the coming years. My good friend and neighbor is to blame for this! Thanks for all your guidance and moral support!

    Sonicsound.....Where did you purchase it from? I took delivery of mine 2 weeks ago from Ferrari of Central NJ.

    This is an incredible machine. Luxurious and lethal! The sound of the V12 is intoxicating. I will post pictures tomorrow as I am still shaking a little bit from this experience...

    The last photo is of a watch delivered to me by my good friend and neighbor when the car arrived. This extremely generous and thoughtful gift has made it easier for me to cope when I am not driving, sitting in, or looking at the FF. I am truly thankful to have a friend like him. He is one of a kind!

    I'm glad you are enjoying it, I doubt the world could handle another one of me, but I do appreciate the kind words. I really do like to see people reach their dreams, I have been fortunate enough to accomplish everyone of mine, and I know just how good it feels.

    CdF is a rare paint color and even better, was not sure as the color looked a bit off for Grigio Silverstone. Congrats on the arrival of your wonderful FF, that spec is a great find!

    Just ordered carbon fiber shields. Does any one have a templet for proper location? Love the fact that this car has a panoramic sun roof. I am really pleased with the spec that the original owner assembled. I don’t know if I would have naturally made the same decisions, but damn did these combinations come together beautifully. For my tastes, the yellow shield would be to much for this car and I am hoping that the carbon fiber shields will be the cornerstone to completing the look of this FF.

    I believe the fenders are actually different as cars with shields have the depression I the shape of the shield. I don’t believe you can install them on a non-shielded fender.

    Don't do it. One of the best aspects of your beautiful CdF is the lack of shields.

    I have been on the fence about the shields. I went ahead and purchased them but will have to see if they work for my visual attraction. I do like the car without the shields as it does not disrupt the lines. In the end, I might just stick these shields on my garage wall or resell them. I was very fortunate to have come across this car with all the options and color scheme. I missed out on another FF three weeks ago and am glad that deal fell through. As my wife reminded me, if it’s meant to be...
