Anyone know how much the stock FF diamond cut front and rear wheels weigh? After bending my stock diamond cut wheels on my FF I am rethinking if I want to keep running them. I hit a small pot hole not faster than 35mph and the rim completely bent. I did some research and saw that the wheels are actually cast. I was pretty surprised Ferrari pulled this on a 4k pound car that cost 400k brand new. Any help appreciated.
no idea where you live, but I live in the northeast and those wheels are garbage… I went through four sets of them between summer and winter driving and will never use them again… I’ve been using bigger tires on Lusso wheels and that has helped a bunch Image Unavailable, Please Login
How many miles do you have on it? And do you have a good source of those Lusso wheels? They look good.
I have about 40,000 miles on my car now… I don’t know if those Lusso wheels are made any better but that’s what I’ve been using… The professor in lusso/FF wheels is a guy on this board who I’m very close friends with, but I cannot spell his Fchat name… I will post it for you in a second… I think he will advise you find a set of forged wheels
Does any know what the stock FF wheels weigh cast or forged options? I can not find any info anywhere.
At that point might as well start making your own wheels, thats what I did, I have them computer-simulation tested to 1000kg rather than 750kg per wheel 250$/wheel!
I have never been a fan of these. I feel like they look like BMW wheels. We pay 400k for a wagon you think Ferrari could at least give us some nice wheels. They Diamond cut look decent but seem to bend.
Yeah many live their life in fear of the PTU and don't even purchase the cars out of fear. Ferrari really should have stepped up.
