    i've come across a question when looking something up online, and it asks me which engine my FF has.....

    i did not know there was more than one variant of the V12 in the FF?!?!? so I've just checked the documents that came with the FF i bought second-hand this month; German docs state 478kw@8000 and the Ferrari technical document that arrived with the car - dated later - states 486kw

    any insight much appreciated.

    486kw equals to 660PS (i.e. metric horsepower)

    That also equals to ~650HP (i.e. mechanical horsepower)

    478kw equals to 650PS, seems like someone confused HP with PS when they did the translation in Germany.

    Since it is an Italian car, that would be called CV. ;)
