With the success of the FF using the 4WD system , do you think it will be expanded to other models ?

Good question. I would guess not. The FF is aimed at a particular, fairly narrow market -- those who want a real Ferrari that they can take on long trips under unpredictable or difficult weather conditions. Although it is superb, the 4WD system is not intended to be a 'performance' system. It does add some weight and complexity although it is relatively compact and light. My guess is that Ferrari believes that they can provide the best in performance under acceptable weather conditions with the e-diff and the various traction control technologies workiing off RWD. Note that LaFerrari does not have 4WD.

But hey, Ferrari can be unpredictable. Luca will decide.

Rumor mill says next California gets it.

Ferrari has 3 categories of cars:

GT: V8= California, V12= FF. GT can get AWD..I think the GT cars are well suited for it.

Sports Cars: V8= 458, 458S, F12, F12 ??? Sports car must be sports cars= bigger power than their respective cousins in the GT class + RWD

Super Car: 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, LaFerrari. These must have knife edge cutting edge tech in every area.
