I have seen this discussed in the past but can't find it now I have a 2012 that warranty expires in December, want to purchase extended warranty, what options do I have ?, how much?, is warranty the same full warranty or not?, what does it and dosent cover? I live in the USA I have also thought about getting a new, or newer model with existing warranty 2014-2015-2016, have you found dealers wanting to help you and or give you a good deal? Any help or I out appreciated
In the UK providing the car has been serviced by main Ferrari dealerships at the correct intervals you can extend it for up to a further 8 years from the end of the initial 4year period. The cover is the same and once you have started with the extra cover there is no mileage limit. Cost here is about 2.5k and covers the same as the original warranty including full continental breakdown cover. Not sure about the US but it must be similar.
There's many threads but look for the posts from safe4now as he has given very precise & helpful details http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/members/11545.html
If you get the extended factory warranty (must be within a strict 30 days after yours is up) it's $13,500 for 2 years. Full warranty, transferable. New Power warranty after that is $6500 a year for the 12 years. Covers 85%, not the little things.
