FF - how to check coolant level

I’m wanting to check the coolant level on my FF. Owners manual really does not provide much. How do you do this? Typically you’re supposed to look at the side markings on the overflow tank. However, even after removing the cover panels round the intake for coolant, you can’t see the tank at all.
