Anyone else look at that rear seat and think the Lusso has more rear legroom? I'm still trying to wrap my head around the PS and what Ferrari's intentions are with it. At this point it looks like a performance luxocruiser. I didn't expect that.

Coming across this thread and thinking back to previous threads on new model launches, there seems to be a distinct lack of response/interest! I'm sure ultimately it well sell but will be interesting to see how it progresses.

They said it’s sold out for three years. I like the suicide doors. Overall, pretty cool.

  7. I like the Puro, but I think the GTC4Lusso is more unique.

It looks stunning however at 2180kg its a massive 260kg heavier than the hardly lightweight GTC4 Lusso. The Lusso aslo has a superior power to weight ratio 360PS/T vs the Purosangue's 333PS/T. The PS list price will also buy a used 812SF AND a used Lusso.

I'm seeing a Roma front with a Lusso rear at what looks to be a crossover ride height rather than full SUV. These are aimed squarely at the Urus market and look how that sold, even with an Audi 4.0 V8.

So here we have a Ferrari crossover with a V12 for the same market spot, they'll never be able to make enough of them, the initial overs will be enourmous.

As a business decision it is outstanding. As a vehicle when considered in Ferrari's history it doesn't sit well. It's all about business these days though.

I own an FF which I've recently bought and I adore. It's a little bit on the harder side of GT but for me it's perfect.

I'm personally not a fan of SUV's having tried a few and reverted to estate/wagons instead when I needed a load lugger. hence the FF. So my view is not that of a fan.

They will be able to sell every one they make three times over though, so from that perspective it's good for the company and allows them to build more silly things.

Think of it as Ferrari's Cayenne/Urus and it makes more sense. It's a means to an end.

Well done for shutting that down... it seems some people enjoy being negative with no objectivity or even reasonale subjectivity.

yes, it appears that the initial press deck was claiming 2180kg, and they then updated the figure to "only" 2033. They do specify this is dry weight with all the weight saving options. So I guess forged wheels, carbon roof, and carbon everything else. Although I doubt the carbon trim bits really help with the overall weight.

Ignore dry weight with all the lightweight options as its totally irrelevant as no car can run without fuel, oils and coolant etc. The figures I quoted are the official wet weight for both cars. Even the dry weights show an increase of 243kg over the Lusso, the other 17kg accounted by a bigger fuel tank capacity etc.
Purely in my personal opinion the simple fact the PS has a power/weight ratio of 27PS/T poorer than the Lusso is a retrograde step. All because Ferrari wanted four doors instead of the two as fitted to the Lusso.

Noo, Mazda looks much better than Furosangue. :D

At least Mazda looks right for this car segment and by the way it looks really handsome. Their car has cleanly defined character, well executed lines. I like that.

IMHO Ferrari missed (messed) a thing trying to invent (again) the market.
(The Furosangue is for Furists, if such term will come in the future)

It looks like a swollen Ferrari 'Roma' ...

Anyway, as many users here already mentioned many times, Ferrari needed a lighter car in their line-up, not a heavier one ;)

Anyone at Ferrari heard about need of a lightweight, nimble car for the future?

A lot of hate on Fchat about the PS (it reminds me of the initial comments about the FF). I congratulate Ferrari for offering various types of exquisite vehicles that appeal to different segments of the population!

Not everyone buying a Ferrari wants a 488, a Pista, an SF90, … I don’t. Many of us are GT people, some of my favorite Ferraris include the 612, the FF/Lusso, the California/Portofino, the 812, … The brand needs to cater to all his potential customers, not just the « purists ». Hey, even Mr. Enzo Ferrari himself loved driving a Ferrari with 4 real seats (his daily driver).

So, FF or PS? I’m in love with the FF/Lusso and therefore will chose FF/Lusso. However, if money was no object, FF and PS together would be so nice (my wife agrees :) )

Ferrari is definitely trying to create a completely different segment; just look at the torque curve. It's not my cup of tea, though. Between its competitors, I'd pick a Urus, which has much more useful low end torque. Yes, it's nice to have a V12, but it will probably need TT to get more low end torque for a proper SUV. Wow, that mid-front V12 is nearly completely submerged at the base of the front windshield...must be tons of fun for the techs when it's time to service it, eg change the sparkplugs.
