FF Magsafe mount

Has anyone found a MagSafe mount that works well in an FF ? I bought a Belkin but it’s not going to work on the FF vents. And I suspect any other vent based mount will have the same problem. Thx

What are you using the bt adapter for?

Which head unit do you have? I thought all the FF / Lusso have BT built into the (chrysler) head unit, and only certain ones with the option have carplay

 

Indeed... My 2012 FF has Bluetooth streaming built in, thought they all did?

 

I mean to say FF with chrysler not Lusso with Chrysler, I meant FF + Lusso have BT or Carplay(including BT, not wireless carplay that's another thing altogether)

 

Well, that is interesting. After having popped out to the garage I can indeed confirm it does have audio streaming.
When pairing my phone it has always come up with a little message on my phone next to the bluetooth icon saying "Paired. No media". I have just discovered via the headunit audio menu you can activate it for audio streaming too. I had just never checked! Only had the car a few weeks though.
Still thats £30 I could have spent down the pub instead...

If it's amazon, they have an amazing return policy! Give it a shot... they might even refund the money and tell you to keep the product.

 

Any issues with the phone shifting or falling off the MagSafe under hard acceleration or turns?
