The green FF currently on BaT is sure pretty! But the service records... ouch!

    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2014-ferrari-ff-25/

Particularly photo 261, "Customer states manettino failure warning is illuminated and stuck in wet." (and that's not the first time it has had this issue!).

Did they fix it? No, "performed all cycles for NDA and verified vehicle is operating as designed now. No additional repairs needed at this time."

I could seriously consider this car, but it seems like it is already in need of a PTU... good news is, the gearbox has already failed and been rebuilt! A problem child, for sure.

It is amazing to me to follow these FF/GTC4 auctions where people go on and and about the cost of the PTU, likelihood of it failing, etc-- with no evidence of a problem with the actual car... and in this one, it's pretty clearly failing now and no one seems to care.

Looks like a really cool spec. The service bills did blow my mind though.

Biggest negative on this car imo is the brake conversion. The head unit and the ptu wouldn’t scare me that much.

    love the no shields look

How much is a PTU rebuild at an indy? I would say, based on the service records, that the car will need that right away.

I have not done it, but I would guess somewhere in the 10-15k range, less if you can do removal yourself.

I think Hollywood does it for like 12 with parts and labor if I recall.

I feel like the PTU is more of an annoyance than anything now that there are actual aftermarket fixes for it that address the actual factory problems. 1.5 years of the Power 15 warranty will pay for it.
People tend to put some value on a replacement PTU, but you’re just getting the same unit from the factory that may fail at some point.

Yes, this has been in my garage for the past 5 years. Consigned to sell through BaT. I have replaced it with another green beauty.
