Ok - so next May the FF is going home so I ma looking for Hotel recommendations with GOOD parking in the following places: Bruges* Bad Durkheim* Solden* Riva Del Garda* Nice Turin Milan Modena Bologna *Petrolheads on board - all other stops are en famille once I pick'em up from Nice airport.. Are you looking for hotels that only accept FF ? If not you may get more joy posting in Europe & Uk sections having looked to see if all the previous similar threads are any use (try advanced search 'hotels' section Europe for example)
For Milan, try Grand Visconti Palace | 4 Star Hotel in Milan | Luxury Hotels in Milan They have a truly excellent underground car park, hotel is on the ring road and quiet, rooms are nice enough.....and suites are relatively inexpensive. Turin is difficult for hotels with good car parking.........but if you're driving down through France to get there, the road south through Val d'Isere (sp?) is the best I've driven.
Nice trip you have planned! If you're planning the trip around the Mille Miglia there will be other F-chatters around Garda as well. Gr. Martin
I can highly recommend the following: Close to Nice. Hotel Royal Riviera at St Jean Cap Ferrat. Bolonga. Grand Hotel Majestic. Modena. Una Hotel Milan. Chateau Montfort. All are used to handling exotic cars, except Una but they are close to the factory and have undercover parking. Plenty of really good roads!!!!!
just back from Turin and stayed in the Lingotto which was great-parking is infront of the hotel but fine most underground car parks in Italian cities are nerve shredders!
