Wow, since I changed my power steering hose, when I turn sometimes the car shutters a tad. Nothing I can replicate. but today when getting the registration check in TX, after they connected to the OB2, all the PTU issue lights came on. I would say that sometimes scanner can set off lights and error codes - not sure if that is your case though You did reset .. see if any lights or codes come again ?
I'd drive it for a bit and if any sort of lights about 4wd or the manetino go into wet/snow come back again your PTU is toast and needs a rebuild/replace
I basically turned the car off, locked the doors and then waited 5 min. The error lights went away. However this isn't the first time I've seen an error message on the manentino. Sometimes at a light I feel the steering shutter when starting that feels like the front wheel drive system. The car is driving fine now.
