What is a reasonable price for a 2013 demo with 4,000 miles and an MSRP of 365,000?

The reasonable price is the lowest price you can convince the seller to actually sell be you the car for and that you're comfortable paying. I know that sounds and hypothetical but, if you can afford the price (regardless of what it is) you will absolutely LOVE the FF. I've had my for a year and it now has about 5,600 miles on it and I can't imagine parting with it unless Ferrari makes an even better version of the FF at some point in the distant future. It is just so wonderful. Someone on this forum called it "the best all-around Ferrari ever made" and I absolutely agree. It is part grand tourer, part daily driver, part sports car, part luxury car, part dream car and, along with its big throaty/torquey engine, all those parts have coalesced into something truly amazing that you will appreciate more and more the longer you own it. I know I have. I can be pretty flighty so I never expected to be so much more in love with the car a year later but it continues to thrill me and I enjoy more every day.

Almost every time I drive it to work at some point during the drive I smile broadly and yell "FERRARI!" at the top of my lungs, in my best-effort Italian accent because, it just makes you want to sing out its praises! Luckily it's not a convertible so nobody else can hear my joy but this car will make you feel that way.

Coming from a person who also has a 458, this is praise indeed. I also have a 458 and am considering the FF for our cross country driving.

I totally agree. This is my second FF and much better than 458 spider I sold. Now later this year f12 will arrive and together with FF they will make better combination than FF and aventador.

A slightly different view - we love our FF and I praise it on this board often.

Many FF's are overloaded, especially demo's. We bought our "perfect spec" - had no regrets about "we should have ordered x and didn't". (aside from the glitch where the factory forgot to do the stitched Cavallino on the seats, ugh). Sticker was $335 (which would have been more in 2012)

In our case, if we were looking at a used/demo, my price ceiling would be near what my target spec MSRP would be, less mileage and any wear allowances. I'd have little desire to pay extra for leather-lined boots, anilina leather, etc - so to us, matters more what is in the car than just looking at a percentage off MSRP.

Of course, there is limited supply, so you will have to make compromises.

One additional thought on negotiating, given the 4K miles, would include an extra year of full warranty. 4K is nothing and these cars are proving to be very reliable when driven, but you only know how many miles, not what kind of miles. FWIW I know 3 people who are waiting for allocations from our local dealer on new FF's....so demand vs. supply is sound, at least in this area.

I agree with this. My own research indicates that I can spec an FF as I would like it for 325K. For this you get an exceptionally capable and reliable all weather 4-seater with a Ferrari V12.

They make an amazing combo. One for the sun and one for the rain :) I'm no slouch driving my 458 Spider either - approximately 2,600 miles on it since i received it on January 4th. Love them both!

Do you find the lack of space for you left foot in the 458 troublesome? I only drove one 458 for about 20 miles and the wheel well space moves the foot rest inboard which makes it uncomfortable for me. Obviously the FF (and the California) don't have that problem.

I'll jump in here although I am not asked. Actually I find the 458 driver seating ergonomics far better than any mid engined car I have driven/owned. Up to now they have all given me left knee problems because of wheel well intrusion on left foot space. These include a 512BB, 328GTB, a few 911s, Porsche Cayman, F430 (which is not too bad). A 100 mile trip in the 458 is no problem for me. Of course if it bothered you, no one else's experience matters.

To me a Ferrari draws too much attention for cross country travel. I have a Porsche Cayenne for that. Plus I hate road trips. You could probably fly private for what it costs per mile to drive a FF.

It is certainly more inboard than the FF but I never noticed it as a problem. I'm getting a McLaren 12C Spider on Friday and I definitely notice it on that when I test drove it. It will be interesting to see how it feels when I'm driving it on a regular basis. The 12C is a warm up for the P1, not a replacement for one of the Ferraris.

I think you will find them from 290k-315k...depending on the dealer. Saw this one in Monterey this week. It was a real crowd stopper. The funny thing is i only spotted 3 FF's and could not believe the amount of Rolls Royces, 458's, 599 GTO's, California's, and other models which are so rare.

Very nice. I am liking the looks of these more and more. We knew all along that it is a great multi purpose fast transport for 4 people.

I am looking to purchase an FF (used), do you need suspension lifter for daily driving? or only going very steep ramp?

Also how good is air conditioning system?, it gets very hot were I live, need to good AC, does anyone have the ventilated seats?, worth it?

I just ordered one without it. For daily driving, I saw no need for it but will be on the alert for especialy steep places as I am with all Fcars. However if you intend to drive in snow you may want it.

I have never tested the A/C in especially hot climates.

I have never used my suspension lifter, but use the vented seats regularly. The AC works fine. (Texas)

I live in the centre of London which has loads of speedbumps and steep car park ramps. My FF does not have a front lifter and so far have not come across a situation where I have needed it. Order it if you want that peace of mind option.

The ventilated seats are great. The car can get warm and it saves you from a sweaty back. AC is able to blow out much cooler air than my previous 612.

There's a beautiful white FF at FCI in NC with 2500 miles on it. The owner was a local car nut.
