    Hi, does FF come with skid pads? Supposedly the dealer had replaced the skid pad before it was sold to me. I didn't examined it before the purchase. I just found out that it is still warped. So my question is if the FF comes with front skid pad? And is it common to have a warped skid pad?

    i actually dont know the answer to this but im pretty sure it was an option.

    yeh pretty sure they are dealer installed and not factory

    You meant that piece for the chin, right? I read a post in the past with a link to a company that makes an aftermarket one that uses existing holes as well as a few additional holes that need to be drilled.

    Thanks. I wonder if the service department will honor what they have told me in email before purchase - the replacement of this warped skid pad. Now that it's a month since I purchased.

    Seriously how can a skid pad warp?

    The bottom of the front bumper is not a smooth flat surface as the bolts that hold it from underneath suck the bumper in. It is some flimsy composit material but very lite weight. If the skid pads are attached using the same bolt locations then it would be easy for them to take the same shape over time as they are made of plastic.

    Thanks. They rebolted everything, and now it fits. They stepped up.
