I know I’ve seen a thread on here about this, but my searches found nothing. I also know it is one of those Ferrari things folks have tried to remedy with switch replacements, but it shows up again.

Front passenger seat message pops up on start always showing it at level one vent even though switch is set to zero. I can sense fan is on. At times, the seat vent 1 message flashes on and off quickly when I am driving around. Okay most of the year, but winter is coming. That said , heated seats with a low fan on is not bad.

Anyone actually successful in taming this demon?

That is a known problem with several Ferraris.
The positions can regularly no longer be set accurately. It may even be that the button gets stuck in the first position.
I already had that with the heated seats of my 612 Scaglietti.
My FF is still doing well, but given the sensitivity of the stud, it can't be long before this problem arises with me as well.
I think replacement of the button is the only solution.

FWIW, the seat heater msg would flash up on my left TFT on start-up and intermittently while driving my 2013 F12. The dealer diagnosed a faulty body control module and indeed that solved the problem.... for a while. When I was comparing their prices with Eurospares, I noticed the part had been updated which had me thinking there was a flaw with the original BCM. Unfortunately, the dealer did not install the updated version so I'll be back next month for the updated module. My initial thought had also focussed on the switch, but I'm fairly convinced the dealer was on the right track - they just didn't listen when I mentioned the module had been updated. Replacing BCM requires reprogramming keys, etc. so not a simple part swap.

I ordered the switch ~$200. Same part as the seat heater.

I'm not so sure it is even the switch. My 2015 FF has heated seats but not cooled seats. However, once in a great while a message comes up about driver seat ventilation on. What's up with that? o_O

From my view, this seems to be a battery weak warning kind of message. With a new fresh battery I never get heat or ventilation message, however when the battery starts to get to used or how I should put it, it starts to flash more and more frequent. It is, in my FF, just damn sensitive...

Maybe, but the ff gives off other errors when battery is an issue

Yes Sir, I had them also. I seem to replace the battery when my FF starts to have "system not programed" (which seems to be a nav unit thing not being able to sync up) or other italian glitches... I still love my FF.

I hadn't seen that seat ventilation light on for months and today when I started the car there it was.

It is all you guys fault. STOP talking about it, you jinxed me! :D

(I'm kidding about not talking about it. I greatly appreciate all the great info I get reading the posts on this forum).

Did this work for you? I have the same issue and although gotten used to seeing it would love to resolve it.

Either getting a switch or a new battery. My car is cpo, I know they don't cover the switch but maybe the battery?

Get a new battery, new switch will NOT solve this glitch...

Don't think it's the battery. I had this issue with the seat heater on previous FF showing it was on every startup even when it wasn't. That car had an antigravity battery so I don't think that had anything to do with it.
