My last two cars had ventilated seats and I liked the feature specially on hot summer days. Wondering if it's worth it getting FF with this option?
Does anyone have it? How good do they ?
Looking to but a used one and not many have this option

    Thanks for input

I have them in mine. They don't blow through very strongly, but on a hot day, definitely take the edge off! I would certainly recommend them and would also make sure that my next Ferrari had them.

I don't get the feature because it greatly complicates leather seat maintenance, and the A/C is fine by itself.

We have the ventilated seats in our FF, and I find they work as welll as any I've tried in the BMWs we've owned or been in, if even a bit better. When activated, I can feel the cool air along my back and it definitely helps cool things off in hot climates.

Just driven 1500 miles down from Uk through Europe to the south of France and the seat ventilation is very good. its a difficult option to justify but it is very effective especially with Alcantara seat centres. certainly works better than the Nav system.

Also have ventilated seats on mine. Worth having if you do a lot of town driving. The cabin gets warm and it help stops sweaty back syndrome.

It doesn't complicate anything and in case you drive your car anywhere where summer exists, get it. I have been using my FF everyday for a year, did couple of 1000 mile road trips and I never regret of getting seat ventilation. It works quite well and would be perfect if were a little more powerful.

    Best,
    Roman

The FF is a perfect daily driver. In 13 months I have driven 28,000+ miles. One set of SottoZero winter tires and one set of PZero summer tires, needing new rear brake pads now, and a couple minor warranty returns to the dealer and that is all. There is really little that I can complain about! And the SOUND :) is very intoxicating to say the least.

I don't have ventilated seats, didn't know they were available but if I get into a position where I can replace this FF with a new one I will add that option. The A/C is plenty good even on a 90 degree day in the hot sun but a little air might be good.

The FF is very enjoyable as a daily driver. Some may hate it, but I have the HELE start/stop on mine, which handles great in slow moving traffic. The car is solid and easy to drive. Plenty of room for carrying the shopping. Has cup holders for those times when you go into a drive-thru. I've done about 1000 miles in 2 months.

Problems so far? I got my first speeding ticket after 15+ years of holding a clean licence. It's easy to dab the accelerator and be way over the speed limit before you realise!

We have that option, too and love it. Makes us giggle every time we pull up to stop and the car just goes all quiet.
I'll second that emotion: That might be the part about the car I like least. :)

It depends on what kind of person you are.

FF is a great daily driver for me. No serious technical issues, very comfortable. Real party trick of this car is that you can put some nice music and cruise and it will be very relaxing. Then open windows a notch and put your foot down and it all will get very exciting. Practicality is great. I even did couple of track days in it. I wouldn't swap this for anything else as a DD including the F12 which is amazing car but is not very happy if not pushed. I'm doing about 12-14k miles per year on the FF and each mile makes me that little bit happier.

But there are couple of issues. Being Ferrari, infotainment is plain horrid and small things stop working from time to time. You will most likely encounter problems with satnav which will occasionally try to navigate you to some sort of lake or river :) and seatbelt handovers which gets stuck in extended position (those two issues are not problems present exclusively on my car, they are typical problems for the FF). So it is your choice really. Ferrari is reliable and great car when it comes to actual driving but there is definitely something to tickle your OCD :)

I imagine these issues are taken care of by the dealer, under warranty, my concerns are related to problems after warranty that could be expensive to repair. It sounds like the car is solid and dependable for daily use, I have not had a Ferrari before but can t believe these issues happen in a car as expensive as this. I have had Porsche and BMW cars and not had any issues as daily drivers, I love the FF and would like to have one in the near future, just trying to get as much info on daily use and what to expect. Thank you very much for all info provided and any future reccomendations are apprecited.

My 2 cents on the FF. I've had it only for about a month and I'll still amazed every time I drive this thing. I came from a 612, so I have no ability to compare to other previous Fcars.

Of course, we are all car enthusiasts, so we want the fastest, greatest thing out there right? So, in my mind, the flagship is the F12. What sealed the deal for me basically comes down to the FF is essentially a F12 w/ backseats. Some may shun backseats, but for me, its a must. If I can't enjoy the car with my family, then what's the point? So to this end, I feel Ferrari did a marvelous job with the FF. Yes, some complain about the hump in the rear... but there's good reason for this. Try sitting in the back of a Tesla. I'm 5'-11" and I could not sit upright without hitting my head. Sit in the back of the FF, and I still have about 3" clearance.

There's nothing about this car I can complain about--
    1) Same engine as F12 (tuned down)
    2) Same Tranny as F12
    3) Same suspension and brakes as F12
    4) AWD is a plus for me. I'm no Schumacher, so I'll take the added traction help. Plus, I don't know how you could be able to lay down this type of HP without the added traction
    5) 4 seats, NAV, and BT streaming from my iphone
    6) $0 in maint costs for 7yrs

I know Ferrari 2+2s have a steep depreciation curve, but with this car, I don't see why. These might be the last V12s made, there's no Triple Clutch tranny coming... what else can they do to improve on this car.... well, I'm sure they'll think of something. IMHO, the car is just fantastic. You can take this car on a 1000mile trip and not have to worry about not making it there... couldn't say that about previous generation Ferraris.
