Didier, thanks for the additional infos with the taxi. I was wondering till today however we got back from the restaurant but didn`t want to bother you with such a silly question.....I`m still missing a few hours on this night
by the way to all: the restaurant is the famous U'Giancu near portofino (http://ugiancu.it/cms/). the owner is a comics enthusiast and changes his caps all 15 minutes while serving food. as you can see in one of the pics with the owner between us and the crazy hat on, manuella and me respected the proper dress code for this location. food was excellent!
But I still wonder why we have paid 80 too much for the dinner ? What happened with that money ??? But the food was excellent (try the flowers & herbs salad !)...perfect service, very good grappa (even if served in a strange way...kind of direct fuel injection directly into the stomach LOL). Just a perfect place to hang out. If you are in the neighbourhood of Portofino just try it ! Didier.
We overpayed him with the tips! Got 60,- uro back (not 80,-) and the deal was (and told to everybody) to go in a Bar close to our Hotel for a last big drink....with this cash!!! When we arrived with the taxis in front of our Hotel, everybody wanted to go sleeping - not Uli, Anja and me........went straight to the Bar......left the Bar early in the morning before breakfast.....payed something like 190,- uro....the rest is history Have we done something wrong with the left cash?
LOL, but we (Uli & I) will be in Andermatt and we will pay the first round in the bar....for the lost losers who went in bed this night You realy missed something that night! When the Bar keeper closed his Bar in the morning, we went all together straight in my hotel room and killed the mini bar in my room - thats it were the headache came from and nothing else!

Hey Wolfgang, I want my free round of drinks at Hockenheim in July - can't wait until Andermatt!! By the way, tomorrow I'm going to Milan - on saturday I'll go to Monza for the Coppa Intereuropa; there should be some gorgeous vintage racing cars including many Ferraris. I'll take some pics and I'll post them here for everyone to see.
