I did a search and didn't see much chatter on this topic...

I'm curious if any has or if it's possible to convert the 4 carbs to a FI setup on a GT4? In this day of all sorts of Megasquirt kits available, I would imagine it's possible but not sure if anyone has endeavored to do this yet?

Seems like a great way to improve power, starting and especially MPG. Thoughts?

    2V to EFI...
Loads and loads of times... And that's just me. Many others have as well.

Figure it'll cost roughly $10k when done.

I'd suggest keeping carbs and just switching over the ignition from dizzy to digital. We sell lots and lots of those conversions.

Unless you really want EFI there's not a big jump in performance from carbs. The easiest option for you is the TWM TB setup. Search should dig up lots of threads on that one.

Thx SMG2, my car is a '79 (208 GT4) so I believe it already came with electronic ignition?

Yes but I was referring to distributorless ignition. A fairly common upgrade for 308's.
