I received a concours Judging Sheet (1988 328 GTS) and found that I got dinged by 1.0 point for a slightly broken small plastic piece that holds four metal fuel injection lines together. Picky judges but broken is broken I guess. If I had any idea how to include a picture I'd do it. Instructions are unclear to the computer illiterate. :) My question is: is this piece available or is it one of those Unobtainium items. I've looked at the Ricambi diagrams but can't see if the piece is shown. It's not so complicated that it can't be made from a block of plastic, but an OEM item is better. Suggestions anyone?

I think the 4-hose retainers are discontinued/NLA as a Ferrari item (115595). The three hose clips are still available, and listed here:

The 4 hose retainers are DEFINITELY not avaialble. I purchase the 4 hose clip, cut them in half with a new utility blade and rubber cemented the backs together. A little clean up with thinner before the glue completely hardens and and some sanding later and you will have the closest part to the original. The things we do to keep the judges happy.

BTW I only got dinged 1/2 a point for one of mine while the 308 next to me had a completly incorrect glossy painted plenum and never got a second look. Go figure.

Muchas Gracias all .. I see I'm not the only one in this boat. I'm going to try to hog one out of a block of some flexible material .. nylon, whatever. Might not be a perfect repro but I'll see if it is good enough until the wizardly Verell gears up to make some. Did anyone figure out how to permanently glue two 3-in-a-row ones (lopping off one) back to back?

Permanent is a subjective term. I tried plastic epoxies but the were too firm and would not hold. Finally used a rubber cement E-6000 by Eclectic Products.

    They're made from Nylon.

Definitely on my list of parts to make injection molds for.

Hold-up on all my injection molds is getting my CNC mill running. Still fighting controller problems. I HATE Win3.1 & unsupported Windows applications.
