FIA 2006 GP Weekend Sked Announcement

    The FIA has revealed the final weekend schedules for the 2006 Grand Prix season. This takes into account the new shoot-out qualifying format.

    Fridays will still have two, hour-long practice sessions beginning at 11am and 2pm local time, except in Monaco when the Friday practice takes place on Thursday as usual.

    On Saturday there will be one, hour-long practice session, in place of the two 45-minute sessions in 2005. This will begin at 11am local time except for Great Britain (9.30am), Canada (10.00am) and USA (10.00am).

    Qualifying will begin at 2pm local time except in Great Britain (12.30), Canada (1pm) and USA (1pm).

    Sunday's race will begin at 2pm local time ecept for Bahrain (2.30pm), Malaysia (3pm), Great Britain (12pm), Canada (1pm), USA (1pm) and Turkey (3pm).

    Thanks for the info. Was there any info if Spa is on or off the schedule.
    Autoweek said it was on, but they are hardopy and here (F-chat it is off for 2006 and back on 2007.
