Well, I looked at Reproduction batteries website....they have several choices...some not Fiamm...they have a group 27 and a group 24 which is smaller. Decals to be purchased from Parker Hall ...position of + and _ poles.....where the stickers go....now I have a headache
Sal - Why are you giving yourself a headache? Why are you doing this to yourself? You should be out DRIVING your Dino and have it put a smile on your face! Batteries are a wear item, and original ones or reproductions ARE NOT required for proper judging. If someone has told you that you must have an original battery, that is incorrect. You just need to have one that is the correct size. If a judge told you that had to have a FIAMM battery, please email or PM me with the name of the judge and where/when that occurred. Now, if you are doing it because of OCD, that is a different matter. . . . Mark
It is good to know that it is not required.....but it would be a nice touch. I thought the shows like Concorso Italiano required it.
Concorso Italiano has never asked to see the battery in my Dino and only once in the last 3 years have they even asked to see the ignition (to confirm Dinoplex vs aftermarket). It would be a pain to see the battery given what you have to do to provide a view of it. Like any show, what they ask to see (that might be hidden) is dependent on the judges that day.
