    Hello,
I am trying to find out some history of a Fiat 1100 S / ES 1950, Vin # 1100S 500346, I am restoring. Car came out of Vermont 25 years ago. It has a flat alloy hood with center molding and hood vent trim pieces. I have never found any photos. Also came with some 2 piece 15 x 4" alloys. Attached are some pictures. It was originally yellow with Green Interior.

This pic shows the specimen introduced at the 1949 Geneva salòn and the 1949 Villa d'Este elegance concours.
The series production had a different rear wheel arch. Probably the car to restore had a race partecipation in the past, the hood vents are necessary for a double carb engine. The green interior matched with an ivory body and not yellow.
In any case i'm available in PM to disclose some doubts.

There are two my friends in Serbia that are currently restoring (totally different designs) Fiat 1100 S convertibles by Stabilimenti Farina. As they are doing that for several years I am sure that they could provide some good contacts related to the model. If you want me to introduce you I can do it.

There is also a 1100 ES, similar to your model, in a private collection here in Croatia, unfortunately 'awaiting the restoration', along with 50+ other interesting sports and racing cars in same collection. I last saw it 18 years ago but I doubt that anything has been touched since, as the owner didn't actually manage to restore any car from his collection during that time... :(
