    Hi, everyone,

I have uploaded two videos showing Fiat 600 sedan-based Abarths in collections onto youtube.
Part 1 is from the Moell collection and is probably included in the 4-part upload I have on his collection
Part 2 is from another collector who chooses to remain anonymous and shows the entire history of these cars.

Here is a link to part 2

The Fiat 600 was introduced about 1957 and, along with its smaller brother the 500, put Italy on wheels after WWII. It was the car a whole generation of young Italians first learned to drive in and race. Carlo Abarth was sort of like the Shelby of Italy and made his fortune making go-fast parts for the cars and special versions from the factory. The cars in the collections show the development from the 750 of the late 50's, which was pretty much as stock 600 with a hotted-up engine, to the early-70's TCR, which was a full-race car with different front and rear suspensions and a special head with splayed valves for a hemi effect.

It is unlikely that anyone coming up in racing in Italy during that time would not have driven one of these cars at some point.
