How much do these cars trade for?

I don't know much about them and my cousin asked me to find out what I could.

    Any info greatly appreciated.

    The issue is condition.

A full resto is easily 40K US and they are often with rust. Totaly reatored 2.4's have sold for 100K+ Original with rust 25K.

Never seen one go for more than 80K, but I guess there could be a few. IMO 2.4 is the one to hold out for, much better car.

I saw a pretty nice one on Ebay go for about 45K about a month ago. I didn't see it in person but the presentation looked good.

There is a forum that is really good for this if you search out there. I was on it for a while a few years ago when I was looking for one. In the end, I just thought they were overpriced for what you can get with other classic cars for the same money. However, I really, really like them very much.

Actually, I've heard the 2.0 is a better car from the forum but who really knows. The 2.0 is a lot easier to find. The easiest way to tell the difference is that the 2.4 has a chrome piece running horizontally in the front grille.

The 2.4 has iron block and IMO is a much more stable engine than the alloy 206. Extra 20 HP!

2.4 has a IRS rear end and the front grill is a bit different, I think there are some minor interior differences too. Not many in the US though.
