I picked her up yesterday from the shop. Running great! Took her up to Firestone today for some new shoes. 195/60-14 Firehawk Indy 500s. Just the perfect size to look right on the car, with a tread pattern that looks more or less period-correct.

A lot of cosmetic work to be done. She really needs paint, but that can wait a while.

    Isn't she pretty?

Yep, she looks fantastic. Sort of Lusso looking at the front and superfast at the back. Nice lines. Not 100% sure on the wheels, but still classics.
    Nice one, congrats :)

Thanks. The wheels do grow on you. We had the car in the UK back in the 70s, and took it to Tec Del (Minilite) outside of London where they measured for the wheels and made them to order.

This is a one-owner car. My dad ordered it at the Geneva Auto Show back in '65. I learned to drive in it. Lots of sentimental value.

Thanks everybody. It's great to have her back. A real pleasure to drive. I'll do a thorough clean-up this weekend and post some more pics.

Ohv 4 1500cc. Something like 87 hp. Fiat made a sedan and a spider, both of which were sold in the US in the early 60s. The sedan was very popular in Europe. The 1500 spider was the predecessor to the 124 spider, both had coachwork by Pininfarina. Moretti was a coachbuilder who specialized in custom bodies on Fiat chassis. As I mentioned, my father saw the car at the '65 Geneva Auto Show and pretty much ordered one on the spot.

I remember in my last year at school, some of the lads drove Super Miafiori's and one of them had some custom minilites. Everyone was driving round with them back in the late 70's/80's. It must be a real pleasure to drive around in a one family car of such beauty. I hope you get many years of pleasure from it.
