Hi all, I am ready to remove the inner tub and front and rear sections in the boot and under the bonnet. Does the rear one have to be chopped. It differs from Jons one in that the rear wheel splash guards are moulded into the floor part. It does not look like it will come out in one piece, I suppose I need to chop it out or will it fit in the gap where the suspension is at the moment. The same goes for the front one, does that need chopped as well?

    Al,
I am going to resurrect this thread for you. I cut my front tub out to enable us to get to more of the chassis then when we decided to 'nut and bolt the car took the rest of it out. But i remember someone on here saying,
i think to Omgjon that you could remove it as a whole with some heavy persuasion! (check out his thread in the early parts) as for the boot area i think you will find that you do need to cut around the arches.

I ended up cutting both side of the rear arch and also in the middle of the front section. It will be easy enough to glass it all back together. The rear is pretty poor for weather protection, gaps everywhere, not very well thought out! The floor in the interior is nearly ready to come out, surprising easy once you have found all the rivets!
I think I will start doing these commercially, if I can do this, I will be able to do any! I also have a good hourly rate!!!!!
