    That car will probably sell in the mid 30's or in the 40's.
    The purchase price of a Ferrari is only the beginning. Maintenance is a big issue.

    Lot's of the people here also own BMW M3's. If you have a project M3, then you better show us pictures right now.
    Also, I want to see a picture of your two Ferrari steering wheels sitting on top of your 456 seat.

    Produce the pictures, we are all waiting.

    Stay with the M3 and models for now. Learn all you can about the model Ferrari you may want, then do the proper purchase routine (use the search here to find out about it). I think the people here are a little harsh, it is characters with some spunk that make life interesting. Keep working and save for the car you really want.

    Mike,

    I doubt it will get that high - an injected, 2 valve 308 with no service history - should go close to $25-27K. More than $30K invested - AFTER the major - would be silly money as you could start to get into QVs at that price.

    I really don't know much about 308's. All the people I know have QVs. In the US, would a Euro 308 QV sell for more than a US spec 308 QV?

    Once again I live in MN and not far from Nik and his dad. I would love the chance to go over there and clear this up. I PM'd Nik yesterday and what sounded like his dad replying and said he had a blk 360

    i agree. so far all the guys i know with Ferraris and Lambos etc are top blokes, this dude has proven over and over to be a pathalogical liar and an attention whore, i'm no snob but i'd rather not see a guy like this diluting the Ferraristi gene pool.

    I'm willing to wait for the pics promised on Tuesday or for Nik to take Pat aka Enzo up on his offer to visit before passing final judgement (and this time it will be final).

    However, Nik, I suggest you not burn up any more good will with unverified claims until that happens. Perhaps you should go on your trip and leave Fchat alone until you make those arrangements.

    In this forum it is pretty straight English except for a few abbreviations. Maybe he could write comics or something constructive. This and the oiled rotors thread are the best of the month!
