Question for 355 owners. Do the outer rear lights shine when you depress the brake? I know the inside set do.

I am installing 355 lights below the 348 grille as in this thread:

However, to accomplish this you need to "convert" the 348 female mulit-pin connector to the 355 flat-4 male lights. I have mapped the pins and there is no splicing needed if the outside set of lights do not shine when the brake is depressed. I unclipped the the pins from the 348 connector and they seem to be 16 gauge rectangular pins......the same as the 355 lights. I have hooked them up and they work great. The only thing I need is the pin housing that fits the 355 lights.....I am on the case to find them....one of the guys at Ricambi said he saw them on his Mazda minivan. Thus far I just used electrical tape and adapted a similar housing......works great. The only damage to the existing 348 loom is a 6" slit down the sheath bundling the wires......a 30 second fix.
