Gas Prices Might Increase 24 Cents Analyst Predicts It Could Be 'Brutal, Horrendous' By James R. Healey, USA TODAY (March 4) Gasoline prices could rocket 24 cents a gallon the next few days, as stations across the USA scramble to keep up with big jumps in the prices of oil and wholesale gas, a veteran energy-price analyst forecast Thursday. "It's going to be brutal, horrendous," says Peter Beutel, president of energy-price tracker Cameron Hanover. He has followed energy markets for nearly three decades.
THANKS JIM FOR THE POSITIVE NEWS... WE WILL BE PUMPING OIL FROM UNDER YOUR HOUSE IN TEXAS STARTING MONDAY MAKE SURE YOUR BLINDS ARE DOWN WHILE YOUR WIFE DRESSES FOR WORK
Thanks for the heads up, I'll make sure to profit and fill up a few containers today to "hustle" for those few days.
I always find it funny how when oil prices spike up, it directly effects gas prices at the pump within a matter of days. When oil prices tumble however, it takes many weeks and even months before pump prices dip at all. I am looking forward to someday driving a hydrogren powered car and filling it up every morning with my solar powered home hydrogen production module. The future my friends.... Terry

Ahh, but Mr. Fusion only provides energy to the Flux Capacitor. The propulsion is still provided by the engine. Which is why they had to push the DeLorean by train at the end of BTTF3.
Also to make you think, the increase in price of gas we are buying at the tank is purchased before the price increase occurs. So we are actually paying for a product that was actually already paid for at a much lower price.
What I don't understand is, we ended up going to Iraq to get all this oil yet our prices keep increasing. I agree w/ you atleast to a point, but something is going on.
On a related note, the line at Starbucks to pay over $7/gallon for coffee continues to grow and grow...
its a problem for me to pay for my full tank of gas at the current prices now...then it spikes, I'll be in trouble...bleh
People in the US are WAAAAAY too spoiled on gas prices. Everywhere else in the world, people pay about double what we do. Personally, I'm hoping prices double. Maybe we won't see so many SUVs on the road then. Or, people will have to stop buying expensive Starbucks coffee in order to pay for their gas.
