Hi all, I noticed in the periodical maintenance operations listing of my 308 GTSi US Version of 1980' that the filter for fuel vapor (#114675)(see picture below) must be replace at 52500 mileage. Is somebody among to you realized this operation ? Is it important to change this part and where i can buy it ? Many thanks by advance for your response, Regards Fred Image Unavailable, Please Login
Think those are nla. Thread about rebuilding them a while back. Could always get a us version and plug it in. Will look stock enough. Note they will leak charcoal into your system when they go bad . You can put a fuel filter in the line to stop that.
Early cars do as well (vent to air) but the can is charcoal loaded.....probably get it open and reload with supply from an aquarium store. It just prevents fuel vapors in the garage...where your gas fired hot water is...LOL!
Take a look at this video on how to rebuild your canister. They are pretty generic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBirjoKGNiA Good luck.
