I had the pleasure of coordinating and shooting for the airline over 4 days the final passenger flights of the last DC-10 carrying passengers. 21 cameras, 150 hours of footage, 2-D and 3-D I finished the trailer for Biman Bangladesh.

Now the hard part of editing a documentary style video using bits from all the footage I got.

    Wanted to share with Fchat

Great video. I've never heard a pilot say a bad thing about the 10.

Love the ultra wide angle view from behind pilots with interior and exterior views.

The DC-10 had some issues - most not the fault of the aircraft's design - but I never had a bad flight in one. Usually it was on United between JFK and SEA back in the '80s, though I also remember a Western flight between SEA and SJC.

It's ironic that the 10 was almost stillborn - from what I've read, United was the last of the majors to decide between it and the L-1011, and if they had chosen the Lockheed, the DC-10 may never have entered production!
