With risk of beating a dead horse. What is the final take on Topspeed headers? Are they good quality and good fit? I don´t care about finish as long as they do the job but i also don´t want to risk my engine.

I have searched and can´t see anything too negative aside from the finish that is not as good as AP, Fabspeed.

I have them on my car since April and put about ~5k miles since. Was under my car prepping for storage and everything looks great. Fits great, no leaks, can't complain

Stock exhaust? Is it really loud and did you get them coated/wrapped?

I wrapped them, seems like the verdict on coating is they don't provide the most heat reduction. If I'm going to pay that much for coating and have to do more heat insulation i may as well pay more for the blankets so it's done in one go.

And I don't have stock exhaust. But it's no louder or quieter than other headers.

But in terms of loudness, if straight pipe is 100% volume, removing the cats will get you 30% there, while aftermarket headers will get you 70% of the volume. Headers without precats are surprisingly loud.

If you have valved mufflers / oem tailpipe you should be okay when the valves are closed.

I installed them last winter and the fit is perfect. I wrapped them with the Ti 2" exhaust wrap and is in perfect condition. Next up this winter is the S Line system. F1 sound nirvana to follow!

Love mine, installed them last may and fitment was spot on with no leaks or anything. Wrapped them in titanium wrap and it seems to keep the engine bay temps down. These headers are perfect there is no reason to pay the Ferrari tax on the other brands. I do have the stock exhaust with mine and I find they sound perfect. If you keep the valves plugged in and under light throttle I would say maybe a 5% increase in dB, hardly noticeable. Now when you put the pedal all the down it’s an intoxicating wale to read line. I would estimate around 35% increase. I have been secretly wanting another s line exhaust.

Another thumbs up here too. I only fitted mine (on axle stands :) ) around 6/7 week’s ago but was impressed by the fit etc. For the price, even shipped across to me here in the uk, it made complete sense to try them. A month or so before this, my system was starting to blow out a fair bit of white powder too, so as a short-term fix, I also fitted another cheaper option: a DesignTek valved rear system. I paid around £200 for it (used) from an eBay seller not too far from home & again I have to say, so far I’ve been very impressed with noise, fit & quailty. I’ll see how it goes before spending a lot more on a replacement (my aim was to get the oem sports system from Tampa Ferrari).

Edited to add: the Topspeed headers also came with new gaskets in the box too, although I’d already ordered new ones in readiness, typically!

I paid around £690 including the shipping....but then had a bill from FedEx for £65 for the duty etc.

Contacted them directly via their eBay listing & asked about selling at the asking price but to include shipping.

This is great. My car came with top speed headers as extra (dealer put stock manifolds back on before I bought it). I’ve inspected them and they seem perfectly fine. I’m wrapping them in titanium wrap, installing them with a Kline exhaust this winter. Can’t wait!

Now that my friend is THE best option for out F430's, I had AP manifolds last year but the drone and increased noise was unbearable with everything else stock, pulled them off and sold them, sadly that was a mistake as the Kline valved muffler X-pipe exhaust would have completed the job and reduced the sound.

Thanks everybody. I have decided to pull the trigger. Done a lot of research the last few days and there is nothing negative about Top Speeds headers at all apart from that the finish seems to be a notch under AP and Fabspeed. They are going to be wrapped anyway so that is not a problem.

Are the Top Speed also a 4 to 1 design similar to AP and Fabspeed? How is the sound pitch and volume compared to AP/Fabspeed?

The biggest complaint I have heard on AP/Fabspeed is that the pitch is lower and a bit more muscle car like at idle, and some have said the overall volume increase was drastic. I am very curious if the Top Speed have a similar pitch and volume to the AP/Fabspeed (with stock exhaust)?

There are some videos on Youtube. I know what you mean about the muscular sound but that don´t seem to be the case here.

Hey did the o2 sensor line up ok with the Top Speed headers. They seem to be in a different spot.
