    You might not be able to close the engine hood, but I think it could work. If you want ill bring some tools over and a 6 pack and we can try to install it this weekend.

    Can Steve re-route the A/C ducts to cool the engine?? Might be an extra load on the engine and youll lose horsepower...

    Isn't that one of those new-fangled inter-coolers?

    Yes, that is a top mount intercooler. It's been around for decades. If you're showing sarcasm, sorry I didn't catch it. :( ...How much are new radiators for a 3x8 anyway?

    Oh boy, it is getting colder here in NYC and we are jsut starting an alum rad thread again... lot's of threads of these rads and if they drop fit if alum is better cooler than copper etc. anyway..I have been looking and looking as well and each season, by the time I finish all teh reasearch the weather cools off just enough and the hampton's trafic eases ( Oh yeah in your dreams) just enough so that I can stay all stock with the rad.

    In sum from what I can glean from all the threads;
    it seems that nick's is drop fit and has two flavores but is expensive

    Brian at Alum-Rad also can do one, is cheaper but may or may not be drop fit

    recores can leak and may or may not solve the problem

    rodding out is nice but a recore is not much more and the way to go,but may leak or not solve problem

    Enzo knew what he was doing and 308's don't overheat if you maintain them properly ( yeah..like they tested ferraris on the grand central or cross-bronx)

    Um, expensive, yes, drop fit, not really. Steve had to fabricate a some aluminum mounts and drill holes to get it to fit. Yes, it "drops" in to place, but then you have to attach it and make sure the A/C condenser and fans are in there good and tight, which takes time. Putting in that rad is *not* a half hour in-and-out job.
